Job summary

AristaCare Health Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to plan, implement, and direct resident therapy programs in our New Jersey facilities. You will provide evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with families and the care team to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role requires an active NJ SLP license and ongoing professional development to maintain licensure. Documentation and CMS-compliant reporting in NetHealth EMR are essential components of daily work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active SLP license in New Jersey.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure/certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide SLP services to residents per standards, procedures and productivity goals.
• Adhere to procedures for documentation and billing of SLP services.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment in evaluation, planning, and follow-up of therapy programs.
• Screen residents regularly to determine intervention needs.
• Screen residents referred to therapy to determine intervention needs.
• Evaluate residents to obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans with short and long-term goals and methods to achieve them.
• Communicate evaluation findings and plans to residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete compliant and medically necessary CMS documentation in NetHealth EMR.
