Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Speech Language Pathologist license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Language Pathologist services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice and department procedures.
• Adhere to documentation and billing procedures for SLP services.
• Demonstrate sound judgment in evaluation, planning, implementation, and follow-up of resident therapy programs.
• Conduct screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Evaluate residents to obtain data for treatment planning and implementation; develop short and long-term goals.
