Job summary

AristaCare Health Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to plan, organize, develop, and direct SLP services for residents in a Linden, New Jersey facility.

The role requires a BS in Speech Language Pathology, an active SLP license in the state, and commitment to ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification. Responsibilities include screening, evaluation, treatment planning, and compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Speech Language Pathologist license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Language Pathologist services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice and company procedures.
• Adhere to documentation and billing procedures for SLP services.
• Demonstrate sound judgment in evaluation, planning, implementation, and follow-up of resident therapy programs.
• Conduct screenings of residents to determine need for intervention or treatment.
• Evaluate residents to obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans with short and long-term goals.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete compliant and medically necessary CMS documentation in NetHealth EMR.
