Cambridgepac seeks a licensed speech-language pathologist to plan and administer a speech therapy program for patients/residents in Mobile, Alabama. The role focuses on rehabilitation after illness, disease or injury and requires collaboration with physicians and care staff.

You will evaluate referrals, develop treatment plans, supervise aides, document progress, and contribute to department policies and budget planning. Licensed SLPs with CCC/CFY are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC certification or completing CFY year and eligible for licensure.
• Licensed in the state where practicing.

Responsabilités

• Review physician referrals and patient records to determine speech therapy treatment.
• Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on evaluation data.
• Confer with physicians to obtain information and align treatment with overall care.
• Record patient treatment, response, and progress in charts.
• Supervise speech therapy aides and oversee student training portions.
• Diagnose and evaluate speech, language, swallowing, and related skills.
• Plan and direct treatment to restore communicative efficiency.
• Maintain documentation consistent with third-party reimbursement.
• Participate in department meetings and budget planning.
