The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Queens is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide and direct speech therapy services, including assessment, treatment, program development, and related in-services under physician orders.

The role involves screenings, evaluations, plan development, family and team communication, discharge planning, and documentation, with supervision of students and ongoing professional development. Compensation is $43-$48/hour.

Formación

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure or licensure eligible.
• Demonstrates good skills in all forms of communication.
• Maintains education and development appropriate for position.

Responsabilidades

• Provides Speech Therapy services to patients and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with department procedures.
• Conducts screenings of patients at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Evaluates patients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation; conducts specialized evaluations as indicated.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to patients, family, and other team members.
• Develops treatment plans by identifying a problem list, including short and long term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
• Coordinates treatment plan with patient, family, and other team members.
