Job summary

Collierville Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services to residents, focusing on communication, cognition, and swallowing safety.

You will screen, evaluate, and develop treatment plans, supervise assistants when applicable, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve quality outcomes while maintaining professional conduct and compliance with state and ASHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven clinical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, with clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services, including screening, evaluation, and treatment planning.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and billing in compliance with guidelines.
• Provide updates to the Director of Rehabilitation on departmental activities.
• Maintain patient-centered interactions with patients and staff.
• Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants when applicable and provide clinical supervision.
• Participate in utilization review, case management, and interdisciplinary meetings.
