Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for PRN weekend shifts in Acute Care Therapy. Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for speech, language, and swallowing disorders and collaborates with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning and implementing treatment programs, documenting progress, and counseling patients and families. Must adhere to HIPAA and hospital policies; prior rehab experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.
• At least 1 year experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan therapy for patients as ordered by physicians, in line with Rehab policies and patient safety.
• Evaluate initial patient condition and determine rehabilitation potential; refer to other team members when appropriate.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for speech, language, swallowing disorders and provide therapy.
• Document progress and adjust plans; educate patient and family about goals and activities.
