Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Valid state Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification where applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, evaluation, and development of treatment plans for patients.
• Discharge planning, supervision of assistants and rehab techs.
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with regulations governing practice.
• Establish patient-centered interactions with staff and clients.
• Refer patients to assistants where applicable and supervise.
• Participate in utilization review and interdisciplinary team activities.
• Develop and enhance SLP programs to improve outcomes.
• Ensure confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Maintain licensure and ASHA certification.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
