Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Missouri is seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for PRN shifts in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, focusing on patient-centered outcomes and quality of life.

Responsibilities include evaluations, creating individualized plans, delivering therapy for articulation and dysphagia, educating families, and collaborating with OT, PT, physicians, and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active and valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Missouri.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.
• Experience in speech therapy preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
