Job summary

Highpoint Health - Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas, a Lifepoint Health affiliate, is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) on a PRN basis. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, an active SLP license with ASHA, and CPR certification, with prior acute or rehab experience

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.

• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
