Join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist. In this role, you will:

  1. Be responsible for providing a continuum of services to patients with neurological, swallowing, speech-language, cognitive, pragmatic, voice, and other cognitive-related disorders requiring intervention by a Speech-Language Pathologist through an interdisciplinary approach.
  2. Utilize the rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

Qualifications

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  1. Two years of work experience providing direct patient care in an inpatient or outpatient setting preferred.
  2. Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred.
  3. Master's degree in speech-language therapy with a Certificate of Clinical Competence.
  4. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  5. Current Speech Language Pathologist Certification with the State of Colorado.
  6. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

This is an acute PRN (As Needed) SLP position requiring a flexible schedule. We offer a 15% premium on top of base pay for flexibility. You can expect to work two weekend days per month, with rotating weekend and holiday coverage. A minimum of one summer holiday and one winter holiday is required.
