Job summary

Mariner Healthcare in La Crescenta is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents within established plans of care. The role requires a California license and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.

This on-site position offers a generous salary range of $104,000 to $124,800 with a sign-on bonus and PTO. One year of clinical experience is preferred, and certification in Clinical Competency is desirable.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
