Job summary

EDU Healthcare seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based roles in Florida. Full-time or part-time, onsite, with a focus on supporting student communication and language development. You will evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy while collaborating with educators and families.

Responsibilities include IEP development, progress tracking, and ongoing professional development in a structured school setting with built-in holidays.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active FL SLP license or eligibility before start.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills required.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and therapy documentation.

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings

• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license in the state of FL (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery
• Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays
