Qualifications

• Rhode Island certification/licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility).
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• Experience with school-aged students, particularly middle schoolers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language services to students with IEPs, meeting all required service minutes.
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine eligibility and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and the special education team to embed language supports across content areas.
• Participate in and help facilitate IEP meetings, including goal-writing and progress reporting.
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation, including Medicaid billing records for eligible services.
• Build strong relationships with students and families, communicating regularly about progress.
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and community events.
