Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver onsite therapy services for a homebound student in Providence, RI. The role runs for the 2026-2027 school year, with 1.5 hours per week split into two sessions.

The SLP will assess needs, develop individualized plans, ensure health and safety in the home setting, and coordinate with school staff to support progress.

Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Experience in pediatric school-based and healthcare settings preferred.
• Ability to perform therapy in a home-based environment.
• Experience with teletherapy techniques is beneficial.
• CFY completion or equivalent experience desired.

Job description

A part-time role is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver onsite therapy services for the 20262027 school year. This position involves providing speech-language therapy to a homebound student within their residence, supporting communication development in a personalized setting.

Location: Providence, RI
Commitment: 1.5 hours per week, split into 2 sessions

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to a medically vulnerable, homebound student in their home environment
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with the students needs
• Maintain compliance with health and safety protocols for serving a medically fragile population
• Collaborate with school personnel as necessary to support the student's progress

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology with expertise in school-based and healthcare settings preferred
• Ability to perform therapy in a home-based environment
• Familiarity with teletherapy techniques and delivering therapy to medically vulnerable students is beneficial
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or equivalent experience desired
