Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a per diem Speech Therapist for our Harrison outpatient clinic. Hours are flexible and may partner with NYU referrals from their system.

Licensed NY SLP or eligible, CCC-SLP, with pediatrics and adults experience, and mandatory First Aid/AED/CPR certifications. Competitive compensation and growth opportunities included.

Qualifications

• Licensed SLP in NY or eligible.
• CCC-SLP certification.
• Experience with both pediatrics and adults.
• Evaluates need for speech therapy and creates a treatment plan.
• Care and treatment based on physician care plan and standards.
• Instructs family members and caregivers in speech therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
• Mandatory certifications: First Aid, AED, CPR (live course).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ strengths and weaknesses and devise creative but effective treatment plans.
• Be flexible and collaborative, excited to take on emerging challenges.

Education

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in NY or eligible

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

Experience with pediatrics and adults

First Aid, AED, CPR Certifications (live course)

Metro's Speech Department continues togrowand we are looking for a per diem employee to work in our outpatient clinic location in Harrison. Hours are flexible based on your convenience. We have just partnered NYU and will be receiving referrals directly from their system.

Metro is looking for a motivated, compassionate, forward-thinking Speech Therapist who excels at assessing patients’ strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans.We’relooking for flexible and all-in teammates who are excited by the opportunity to take on emerging challenges.

Pay: $60.00 per hour

Qualifications

• LicensedSpeech-LanguagePathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Must have experience working with both pediatrics and adults
• Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and developsan appropriate treatmentplan.
• Provideappropriate careand treatment to patients based on physician careplan, agencypolicyand professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers inappropriate speechtherapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
