Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation to You in Charleston, WV is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients restore communication and safe swallowing. You will design and implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve quality of life.

We offer mentorship for new grads, free CEUs through Medbridge, visa or relocation support, and a Journey Travel Program to work across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Speech-Language Pathology or related ASHA-approved field.
• ASHA CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellow (CF) status; acceptable alternative if CCC not yet attained.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore communication and swallowing abilities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans with the care team.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and independence.
• Document progress and communicate findings to patients, families and care teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote ongoing communication strategies and functional improvements.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
