Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients communicate, swallow, and regain function. You’ll design and implement individualized rehab plans, collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality care across settings.

You will promote patient independence by teaching skills to patients and caregivers, while staying adaptable to varied environments and shifting caseloads.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or similar field consistent with ASHA standards.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate disorders or deficits.
• Design, deliver, and monitor rehab plans to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and care teams to optimize therapy.
• Adapt activities across settings and manage daily responsibilities to keep care moving.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and long-term skills.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field
