Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients communicate, swallow, and recover speech and cognitive skills. You will design, deliver, and adjust therapy plans, and coordinate with physicians, nurses, and caregivers to ensure high-quality rehab services.

You’ll work across diverse settings, move between patient rooms and therapy spaces, and support families by teaching skills to promote independence and participation in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA-acceptable credentials.
• State licensure or credentialing as required in practice state.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate speech and cognitive disorders.
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure efficient rehab delivery.
• Document progress and adjust plans based on patient response.
• Educate patients and families to promote independence and participation.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that's acceptable to ASHA
