Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients communicate, swallow, and regain speech and swallowing abilities. You will design, implement, and monitor individualized rehab plans across diverse settings, coordinating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

You will educate patients and caregivers to promote independence, with opportunities for mentorship, CEUs, and growth within a nationwide, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similarly-titled area
• Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and address speech-language disorders; design an individualized rehabilitation plan and execute it with patients
• Provide therapy and monitor progress, adjusting plans as needed to restore, reinforce, and enhance communication abilities
• Collaborate with the care team, coordinate with physicians and caregivers, and document progress for each patient
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and functional communication
