Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similarly-titled area recognized by ASHA.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate disorders.
• You design rehab plans and deliver efficient, effective rehab services.
• You address the whole patient, tailoring programs to restore speech and communication abilities.
• You collaborate with peers and adapt to varying settings to keep work moving smoothly.
• You train patients and caregivers to promote independence and productive outcomes.
