Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients regain communication and swallowing skills across rehab settings. You will design and implement therapy plans, track progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize outcomes.

You will educate patients and families, adapt to diverse environments, and contribute to a supportive workplace that values growth, mentorship, and continuing education. Powerback sponsors visas and supports relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similarly titled field accepted by ASHA.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients regain communication, swallowing, and other speech-related abilities.
• Design, deliver, and monitor rehab plans for individual patients.
• Collaborate with teammates and other clinicians to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adapt to different settings and patient needs, moving through various care environments.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and functional communication.
• Engage with patients with empathy, supporting a healing and empowering environment.
• Be proactive in coordinating care and referrals to ensure comprehensive treatment.
