Job summary

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits.
• Design the plan and work with patients to execute rehab services efficiently and effectively.
• Act as a healer and helper, focusing on the whole patient and restoring speech and communication abilities.
• Adapt to patients' needs across various settings and collaborate with peers, including referrals when needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.
