Job summary

Apple Rehab Inc in Shelton, CT is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide high quality resident care and improve functional communication abilities. As part of the Rehabilitation team, you will develop and implement individualized speech therapy programs, supervise students/techs, and ensure compliance with PPS guidelines while supporting families and caregivers throughout the care continuum.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited SLP program; CCC and licensure eligibility required.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, develop, organize and implement resident care programs using speech therapy procedures in individual and group sessions.
Manage caseload with screening, scheduling, and delivering therapy; maintain productivity expectations.
Instruct residents, families, and caregivers for continued therapy after discharge.
Ensure PPS compliance in documentation and billing practices.
Provide oversight of technicians and assist in supervising affiliating students.
Maintain sanitary, safe clinical environment and equipment.
Adhere to ethical, regulatory and professional standards in practice.
