ReNEW Schools is seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist in Indiana to assess and create programs for students with speech and language difficulties. This role involves collaboration with students, teachers, and parents to provide effective therapy and ensure the success of each student's individual learning plan.
The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and have experience in conducting assessments and developing IEPs. This position aims to enhance communication skills and overall student outcomes through personalized intervention plans.
The role of Speech and Language Pathologist and Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant in schools is to assess the individual needs of students and design programs to best aid students with language and speech problems. Treatment plans often involve working with students and their families and teachers. Speech therapists will work with students who have difficulty swallowing, refining students' enunciation skills, providing vocal instruction, and helping students who have suffered the loss of their voices. In addition to devising treatment programs and assisting students in school, speech therapists will additionally work with parents and teachers, instructing them on how to implement treatment elements.
