Job summary

VocoVision is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in both hybrid and in-person settings. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to promote communication goals.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Active Virginia SLP License is required.
  • CCC-SLP certification required or preferred.
  • Experience with K-12 populations is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret speech/language assessments.
  • Develop and implement therapy plans for diverse caseloads.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and student support teams.
  • Document daily therapy sessions and progress notes.
  • Provide consultation to teachers and parents.
  • Stay current with best practices in the field.

Make a meaningful impact while advancing your career as a Speech Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity supports K-12 students in both hybrid and in-person settings, allowing you to work closely with students, parents, and staff to foster student achievement and communication success.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans, delivering evidence-based therapy, maintaining detailed case records, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your work will directly empower students from kindergarten through high school, helping them overcome communication and language challenges.

Desired background and qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Virginia SLP License (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience with K-12 populations preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to manage a 40-hour, 5-day work week schedule on site or in a hybrid model
