Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy services in a Virginia school setting. You will evaluate, treat, and support students' communication goals while collaborating with educators and other professionals.

This position emphasizes IEP alignment, individualized plans, and timely documentation; strong communication and organizational skills are essential to thrive in a dynamic educational team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Virginia SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• CCC-SLP preferred; strong CFs are welcome to apply.
• Experience in school settings is a plus.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with standards.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually or in groups.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for parents, caregivers, and educators.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and valid SLP licensure in Virginia, or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
• Experience providing speech therapy in a school setting is a plus
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
