Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a hybrid role near the Washington, DC area. The contract runs August 3, 2026 through the end of the school year, with 37.5 hours per week and a 3/2 onsite/remote schedule.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy and assessments, collaborating with teachers and families, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Job description

Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their communication needs in a hybrid role serving diverse school populations near the Washington, DC area. This contract position offers the flexibility of both in-person and remote work, with a 3/2 split: spend three days providing direct services onsite and two days working from home on meetings, documentation, and virtual therapy. Start August 3, 2026 and continue through the end of the school year, for a rewarding full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:
  • Active VA Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Strong background in delivering speech-language services within school settings
  • Experience supporting a range of age groups and managing varied caseloads
  • Comfort with both in-person and virtual service delivery, including teletherapy platforms
  • Ability to manage time-sensitive credentialing steps, including a VA Department of Social Services check and TB test
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
What Youll Do:
