Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Valid state Speech Language Pathologist license.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services, including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, discharge planning, supervision of assistants and rehab techs.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing speech-language pathology practice.
• Provide updates to the Director of Rehabilitation regarding departmental activities and operations.
• Establish patient-centered interactions with patients, interdisciplinary team members, and facility staff.
• Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants where applicable.
• Engage in utilization review, care conferences, and interdisciplinary team activities.
• Develop and enhance SLP programs and services to support quality outcomes.
