Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for per diem homecare in the Long Beach area. You will have autonomy over your own caseload and flexible hours, selecting cases at your convenience.

The role requires NY licensure (or eligibility) and CCC‑SLP certification, with First Aid/AED/CPR live-course certifications. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with families and Home Health Aides to implement therapy

Qualifications

• Licensed NY SLP or eligible must be active
• CCC-SLP credential required
• Ability to assess patients and plan therapy
• Ability to train family members and caregivers in techniques

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop tailored speech therapy plans
• Provide care according to physician plan and agency policies
• Instruct family members and caregivers in therapy techniques and home exercise plans
• Maintain patient records and progress notes
