Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to oversee therapy provided by aides, ensure adherence to standards, and adjust work hours to patient needs. You will develop and implement treatment plans with clear goals and document progress accurately.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech/Language Pathology, BLS, and active licensure or provisional status as applicable; interaction with multidisciplinary teams is expected to support patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology; licensure or eligibility as applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; SLP licensure or provisional/temporary as applicable.
• Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee therapy aides and ensure care adheres to regulations and standards.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Document accurately and timely using CPT and payer guidelines.
• Educate patients and caregivers and participate in community education.
