Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current SLP license or provisional/temporary permits as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the care provided by therapy aides per regulations and practice standards.
• Maintains productivity standards and adjusts work hours to meet patient needs.
• Incorporates professional development and performance improvements through evidence-based practice.
• adjusts to changes in patient census by altering working hours and assisting other centers as needed.
• Supports employee and patient safety in daily activities.
• Participates in community education and outreach to raise awareness of clinical expertise.
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques.
• Establishes and adapts individualized treatment plans with goals and activities.
• Discharges patients when maximum benefit is achieved per practice and payer guidelines.
• Documents accurately and timely using CPT codes and insurance guidelines.
• Assesses growth and development to tailor evaluation and communication.
• Contributes to practice improvements and quality initiatives.
