Job summary
AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support patient-centered care in a hospital setting. This part-time role offers 24 hours per week, daytime shifts, and is located at 13925 17Th St, Dade City, FL 33525.
You will supervise therapy aides, develop treatment plans, document in EMR, and ensure safety and quality while engaging in community education as needed. A Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and an active SLP license are required, with CPR/BLS training highly
Qualifications
- Master's in Speech/Language Pathology required.
- Basic computer skills and EMR proficiency required.
- English proficiency with strong communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversees therapy aides' care following regulations and standards.
- Maintains productivity and adjusts hours to patient needs.
- Develops and implements individualized treatment plans.
- Documents patient care accurately in EMR.
- Discharges patients when maximum benefit is reached.
- Participates in community education and outreach.
