Job summary

Sierra Valley Rehab Center in Porterville, CA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary care team in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current California SLP license.
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with the care team.
• Provide direct therapy and caregiver/staff training as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily treatment notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in care planning meetings and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility standards.

Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time

Location: Sierra Valley Rehab Center - Porterville, CA

Pay Range: $62.00-$65.00 per hour
