Job summary

Pro Rehab in Starbuck, MN is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to float between Starbuck and Wheaton. This on-call role offers $45–$50 per hour with mileage reimbursement and benefits. A CCC-SLP and MN licensure are required, with training available for EMR and OASIS experience.

Responsibilities include assessing disorders, designing and implementing therapy plans, providing therapy, educating families, tracking progress, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
• Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License.
• Homecare Homebase EMR experience helpful but will train.
• Experience with OASIS preferred or willing to be trained.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations.
• Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals on personalized plans.
• Excellent communication to educate patients and families.

Pro Rehab, an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist. We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to float between the Starbuck and Wheaton area! We offer a competitive wage, benefits and mileage reimbursement ($.70 / mile). We are seeking an SLP with current CCC-SLP certification. Position Type: On-Call. Wage Range: $45 - $50 / hour depending on experience. Location: 605 N. Main St. Starbuck, MN 56381

Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:

• Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders: Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.
• Provide Speech & Language Therapy: Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborate with HealthcareTeams: Work with doctors, nurses, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
