Job summary

Pro Rehab is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to float between Clarkfield and Belview areas. On-call position with wage range $45-$50 per hour; mileage reimbursement offered. Requires CCC-SLP certification and MN licensure.

Location: Clarkfield, MN. Responsibilities include evaluating communication disorders, creating and implementing treatment plans, providing therapy, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Benefits include competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
• Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License.
• EMR experience helpful but will train
• Experience with OASIS preferred or willing to be trained
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain.
• Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.

Responsibilities

• Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders: Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.
• Provide Speech & Language Therapy: Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with doctors, nurses, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
