Job summary

Anchor Post Acute in Aiken, SC is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This role focuses on evaluating and treating residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, while building meaningful connections with residents and families.

You'll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy staff, develop individualized treatment plans, maintain compliant documentation, and participate in continuing education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current state licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred; CFYs are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is a plus, not required.
• Proficiency with electronic health records like Net Health and Point Click Care is expected.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and quality of life.
• Assess and treat swallowing disorders to help residents eat and drink safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to provide resident-centered care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Celebrate milestones and encourage residents to achieve meaningful goals.
