Job summary

Anchor Post Acute in Aiken, SC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and quality of life, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional resident-centered care.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, and preferably CCC-SLP; CFY candidates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY welcome/apply.
• Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state; CE requirements.
• Experience in skilled nursing/rehab is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and quality of life.
• Assess and treat swallowing disorders to enable safer eating and drinking.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families for resident-centered care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Supervise CFY or students when applicable.
