Job summary

CASA Consulting, LLC in Indiana is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The role involves collaborating with residents, families, nursing staff, and an interdisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans that improve quality of life and communication.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in SLP, state licensure, CCC-SLP preferred, CPR preferred, and have experience

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Healthcare, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, pediatric settings experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to determine speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately and timely.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home exercises.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapy team, physicians, and other departments.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and professional standards.
• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Complete required documentation and billing in a timely manner.
