Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic team dedicated to improving the lives of senior patients. You will evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, set treatment goals, and develop comprehensive treatment programs.

The role emphasizes one-on-one sessions, a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements, and opportunities for CEUs and professional growth within a not-for-profit provider

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain prior to starting employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop SLP treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one-on-one with private treatment sessions using a functional-based approach.
