Job summary

Sweetwater Care and Rehab is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team in Montana. The role focuses on restoring communication for residents, addressing swallowing disorders, and improving safety through targeted exercises and diet texture modifications.

Responsibilities include enhancing intelligibility of speech, utilizing AAC when appropriate, and contributing to an interdisciplinary approach that values collaboration, patient-centered care, and quality

Qualifications

• State licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with illnesses, injuries or disabilities impacting communication.
• Address swallowing disorders and improve swallowing safety through oral exercises and diet texture modification.
• Provide treatment to increase intelligibility of speech and use augmentative/alternative communication devices as needed.
• Support cognitive function and communication goals within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
