Job summary

Hireology seeks a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team, serving residents with person-centered care to achieve positive outcomes. The SLP will assess swallowing and cognitive deficits, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement AAC systems.

Training for caregivers and coordination with other professionals are key parts of the role. Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology is required; SNF/long-term care experience is preferred, with

Qualifications

• Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence and functioning.
• Provide AAC systems for expressive and language disorders.
• Educate residents, caregivers, and staff as a subject matter expert.
• Coordinate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures.
• Maintain compliant billing records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and comply with legal and professional standards.
