Job summary

Autumn Hills Healthcare Center, located in California, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate residents, develop and implement plans of care, and conduct specialized tests. The ideal candidate holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, a California license, and one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current California license to practice SLP.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
