Job summary

Life Care Center of Acton, MA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct speech therapy services to patients under physician referral. The role requires MS or MA in Speech Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, and active state licensure. CPR certification is expected upon hire.

One year of experience is preferred but new grads are welcome. The SLP will work within Life Care’s standards, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in continuing education

Qualifications

• MS or MA SLP from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility required to earn CCCs.
• Active state licensure in good standing is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care for CFYs (SLP CFY/CCC roles).
• Follow sanctioned speech therapy treatment plans under supervision.
• Chart appropriately and timely; document progress.
• Use therapy software and related tools accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional demeanor.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient care.
