Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy under physician referral in a post-acute setting.

Qualified candidates have an MS/MA in Speech Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, and an active state license. CPR certification is required; new grads are welcome to apply and may be considered for CFY supervision.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs OR CFY eligibility; must meet credentialing criteria.
• Active state license with good standing; maintain licensure.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation; keep current.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable, and functional goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care for SLP CFYs (if applicable).
• Follow treatment plans for patients under supervising SLP CCC and state/federal guidelines.
• Document appropriately and timely in charts.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
