Job summary

Adoration Health in Opelika, AL is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to empower clients with strength and independence. You will provide 1:1 evaluation and treatment in home health or long-term care settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered outcomes.

Strong clinical skills, ASHA CCC, and the ability to work flexibly in Independent Living/Assisted Living environments are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• License in state(s) of practice required.
• ASHA CCC current.
• CPR certification current.
• TB test completed (two-step).
• Auto insurance proof.
• Minimum one year of SLP experience preferred.
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics or home health.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Reassess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing and family conferences.
• Conduct discharge evaluations and provide safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
