Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Athens, GA to help patients regain communication and swallowing skills. You will design and execute individualized therapy plans, working closely with patients and families to achieve meaningful outcomes.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across skilled nursing, outpatient, and home-care settings, educating patients and caregivers to promote independence and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field and licensure/certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients to improve communication, swallowing, and related disorders.
• Design and implement rehabilitation plans and monitor progress with patients and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families to promote independence and effective communication.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care across settings.
• Provide patient-centered care tailored to individual needs and settings.
• Support continuity of care and participate in team meetings and handoffs.
