Job summary

Serendipity Center Inc. seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to advance educational goals and communication skills for students. The role focuses on IEP development, assessment, and collaboration with teachers, mental health staff, and families.

The SLP will contribute to planning, implement evidence-based strategies, and monitor progress. This on-site position requires LICENSURE in Oregon and a commitment to student well-being and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and 2–5 years of related experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional materials and communicate effectively.
  • Strong writing and documentation skills for IEP goals and progress notes.
  • Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
  • In-person work with students, with required safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the development of IEP plans and oversees implementation.
  • Evaluates student progress and compiles data for annual IEP meetings.
  • Performs 3-year eligibility assessments and updates communication goals.
  • Develops age-appropriate lesson plans and instructional materials.
  • Collaborates with mental health and classroom staff on goals and interventions.
  • Maintains confidentiality and reports safety concerns as needed.
  • Provides supervision during transitions and crisis intervention.
