Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders in inpatient and/or outpatient settings in New Jersey.

The role requires New Jersey licensure eligibility and CCC-SLP; a Doctoral degree is preferred. The position supports a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for patient evaluation and collects history.
• Establishes a plan of care with measurable goals.
• Performs therapy for all age groups within department scope.
• Utilizes reassessment to modify goals and progress.
• Communicates with patient/family and refers to other providers as needed.
• Documentation of services and charges per policies.
