Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders across inpatient and outpatient settings in New Jersey. You will coordinate, educate, communicate, and document care to ensure comprehensive, evidence-based services for patients of all ages.
The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP eligibility/credential, and licensure in New Jersey.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Responsibilities
- Prepares for the evaluation of the patient/client in accordance with departmental policies and standards of practice.
- Establishes a plan of care with the client/patient/family based on functional, measurable goals.
- Performs therapeutic treatment for all age groups within the department's responsibility.
- Documents data accurately and records charges in line with reimbursement systems.
- Adheres to organizational competencies, standards of behavior, and policies.
